IP address and logging

Your IP address is used to gather broad demographic information and to track your general visiting patterns (how many pages you view while at one website, downloads, etc).

Third Party Advertising

We may use Google Adsense and other third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit RealChristianTalk.com. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements on this site and other sites about goods and services that may be of interest to you. Cookies

RealChristianTalk.com uses cookies on the forums that enable many features. These cookies track login time/date, and, optionally, your login data (set in your user prefs). Third Party Cookies

Forums Registration

During the process of registering an account, a valid email address is required. The user has the ability to hide this email not only from other users, but from the administration as well (all set in user prefs). No email addresses will be shared with any other entity without permission. If a user chooses to hide his/her email from the administration, no contact will be made, unless for disciplinary action.

User Profiles

Members have the option of allowing or disallowing guests to view their member profile. If guests are not allowed to view a member's profile, then search engines will not be able to spider the profile as well. This keeps member profiles private and restricted to registered members only. Members can only choose to hide specific information in their profile from other members - things like reputation level, birthday, age, gender, faith, and even site supporter status - these can be set in the User Control Panel, Options.

Private Messages

All private messages belonging to a member remains private at all times. None of the moderators or staff at RealChristianTalk.com have access to private messages of members. The webmaster of RealChristianTalk.com will not be accessing the database directly to view the private messages of members. Private messages will remain private.
